The location is right at the beach, and the hotel has its own parking. It’s family-run, with a nice buffet breakfast and staff who welcomed us warmly, without haggling or trying to rip us off as foreign tourists. The rooms do have some less impressive parts, especially the bathroom, but the hotel is cheaper than the competition, so we could shrug those off.
We had no complaints. The room was clean, the food was good, and they let us check in an hour early. The service was excellent, the price reasonable, and the hotel sits right on the beachfront. As foreigners, we’ve often had places try to charge us extra for the price or breakfast, even when breakfast was already included, or ask us to pay more for a better room. Here they treated us very fairly.
The service was friendly and flexible, and the location was great. The rooms are a little dated, but we still had a good stay.
The family running the place were lovely, happy people. There’s a nice beach and plenty of sightseeing nearby.
The only good thing was being right by the sea. I stayed with my family in July, and it felt like the hotel was trying to seem nostalgic, but everything was just very old. The tube TV didn’t work, and after 3 pm there was no hot water. When we complained, they said it was a village. They were stingy with the bathroom shampoo, too, so two of us had to share it. Breakfast was only boiled eggs, with nothing hot. Apart from the young staff, the others seemed like they were being forced to work there and were rude. Never again...
