The setting feels classy and authentic, with lovely sea views, a nice breakfast, a friendly hostess, and a very pleasant building. It’s near the beach, around a 20-minute drive from Assos and its beautiful ancient site, and not too far from Troy and Alexandria. A good place to get away from everything. There were a few snags: Wi-Fi didn’t reach our upstairs room, we had mosquitoes in the room, and the card machine wouldn’t work with any of the four cards we tried. The village ATM charges 8% for withdrawals, and communicating in English can be a challenge. Bring euros in cash and mosquito spray and you may be fine.

We were four guys staying two nights at Ada Hotel, and the owners and staff made us feel comfortable. The hotel is in good condition, the place is amazing, and it’s easy to reach by car.

Sipping coffee in the garden in the afternoon was especially soothing, and breakfast was a treat: fresh, natural products with a magnificent view. The rooms were spotless, smelled lovely, and had tasteful details throughout. You can feel Assos’s distinctive historic atmosphere as soon as you enter. We felt more like guests at a dear friend’s summer house than at a hotel. The owners and staff were welcoming and attentive, with genuine smiles. It’s a lovely place to escape the city crowds, rest, and recharge. We’ve already started planning another holiday around it. Thanks to the whole team for everything, and see you soon! For evening cocktails with a great view, I’d also recommend Sappho cocktail bar :))
