Mcora Tatil Köyü

We stayed at Mcora Hotel for three nights in July with my wife and our 15-year-old son. The staff made the biggest difference. They were attentive, accommodating, and did their best to meet every request. Their English is limited, but they were happy to use Google Translate, so we managed fine. They treated us like royalty, and we’re very grateful for that. The bungalow had some drawbacks. There was only one AC unit, and the bedroom stayed quite warm. We asked the staff to move the mattress downstairs where it was cooler. That solved the heat issue, but made the bedroom useless to us, and the downstairs space felt a bit cramped. We loved the peaceful setting, away from city traffic and noise. There was a dining table outside, where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was brought to our bungalow, and eating in the morning breeze was a great start to the day. The food at the restaurant was excellent too, including one of the best dinners we had during our time in Turkey. Getting there takes some effort. The final kilometer is along narrow, unpaved off-road lanes, which could be inconvenient for some drivers. The hotel said we could leave our car overnight on the other side of the river and assured us it was safe. Without a car, staying here would be quite challenging. Despite those issues, we had a pleasant stay, and I’d strongly recommend Mcora Hotel to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. Keep the access and location in mind.

The road in is off-road for about 600 meters, but it’s a great stay and we’d definitely come back. We had a two-floor family bungalow, and the staff treated us like guests in their home. The place is peaceful, clean, and modern, with friendly staff and a free breakfast. There’s a shaded, safe play area, and they keep the lights on all night since it gets very dark among the tea farms. The restaurant food is good and reasonably priced, though it’s only available until 7:30.

The breakfast was very good, and the bungalows are clean, cozy, and nice. The AC heating upstairs is a plus. Downstairs was a bit chilly, since you have to keep adding wood to the fireplace. The view from the room was pretty ordinary, so I’d say it’s more suited to an overnight stay.

We had a wonderful two-night stay. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were friendly, especially Mr. AmuruAllah. The bungalow was fabulous, very clean, and modern. I’d recommend it 🤙🏻
