Gurel Garden House

The coastal town still feels untouched, and the hotel is a peaceful escape, with a serene room in a beautiful garden. The staff were especially helpful and courteous. We'll definitely come back.

We've come back for a second stay at this cozy, cute, kid-friendly hotel. The garden rooms were very clean, and breakfast on the roof was phenomenal. Everyone on staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend it.

We wish we'd booked a longer stay! The room was tidy and well equipped, and every staff member we dealt with was pleasant and enthusiastic. Best of all, this was easily the best hotel breakfast we've had lately: perfectly cooked eggs, incredible baked goods, and vegetables dressed with herbs and oil that made them delicious.

We only stopped for three days on the way to İstanbul, but we've decided to return for a full 10-day stay next year. The garden and yard are gorgeous, even better than the pictures, and the staff were attentive without getting in your way. Reception were caring and quick to respond. I booked in February, and they only charged at checkout. My card had expired by then, which was embarrassing, but they sorted it out on the spot. The restaurant is beautiful, up in the attic with views over the houses toward the sea, and it felt homely. I didn't take photos because other people were there. The food was great; Turkish cuisine is delicious anyway, and they do a lot to bring that out. The room was clean, with wooden furniture rather than plywood, hot water, and a small kitchen for making something outside restaurant hours. The fridge was almost full-sized. A faucet needed some convincing to shut properly, so maintenance could use a little attention. It was a small thing, but enough to take off a star. We're looking forward to coming back to Gurel Garden for a full vacation next year.
