We stopped here for lunch and had a lovely vegetarian meal, which was especially welcome in a cuisine with so much meat. The soup was outstanding, and everything was local and delicious. This family-run restaurant sits among beautiful village scenery, a little off the beaten path. One of the best meals I had during a month in Turkiye. Thanks!

Book around 18:30 if you'd like to watch the countryside sunset through the dining room's wall of windows. The intimate room seats up to 20, so it also works well for a group dinner. Okan speaks excellent English and made us feel welcome. The restaurant is part of a charming three-room hotel about 25 minutes from Göreme. There's no menu, the chef serves what they've gathered from the garden and prepared that day. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well balanced across meat, vegetables, and carbs. Aravan Evi was our favorite meal in Cappadocia. We'd happily return.

Dinner here felt like being welcomed into a Turkish family's home. It's a sweet little bed and breakfast, and the home cooking was fantastic. We enjoyed every bite and the whole evening made a lasting impression on me. Thanks for such a wonderful night. We'll come back and send our friends here too.

The terrace under the grape vines was a lovely place to eat, and the homemade, homegrown spread was so generous that we left stuffed. Hosting and service were top notch too. My girlfriend found this place online and we had it on our list for a while. It turned out to be the best meal of our vacation. It's in a small village outside the main tourist areas, and Google Maps puts it in the wrong spot. The drive is short and well worth it. Next time I'm in the region, I'd probably stay at the hotel as well, to get some distance from the tourists.
