We stayed for two nights, from September 1 to September 3, 2025, as three girls. We arrived very early, but they let us bring in our belongings, prepared the room, and invited us in an hour before check-in. It had a single bed and a double bed, plus a separate bathroom and toilet, five power outlets, and a television. We had no problems. On our last day, we left our things safely at the guesthouse while we went for one last look around Ayvalık. Thanks so much. I'd choose it again if we return.

This place was a lucky find for my wife and me. We stayed two days in the middle of Ayvalık's traditional houses, with everything close enough to walk to. As someone who really cares about cleanliness, I was impressed that it was cleaner than the hotels we'd stayed in over the previous few days. It's a charming little boutique hotel run by a couple, and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast isn't included, but they offer tea and coffee for free, and even brought us watermelon one evening. The rooms suited us well, and we appreciated the friendly, family-run feel. I usually read reviews before going somewhere, but some seem irrelevant or come from bot accounts, so I wanted to share our experience in case it's helpful.

After booking for two and traveling five hours, we found ourselves in a dark, windowless room behind the reception that felt like a basement. We were extremely disappointed and left within 15 minutes after asking for our money back. When we asked to change rooms, they demanded an additional payment. They may be friendly, but we felt scammed. Check that the room you've booked is the one you'll actually get, and ask whether it's the awful room by reception before making a reservation.

Getting around from here was easy, and we loved the location. The three of us, all friends, found our room spotless and perfectly adequate. The friendly manner and easy communication made us happy as well. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
