The location is good, right in the city center, but this was one of my worst vacation stays. The room items looked clean, but we were in room 33 and there were noises like "Çıt, çat et." That's the sound of bedbugs. It seemed like poor maintenance and a lack of spraying the wood had caused the problem. I really don't recommend this hotel. If you want a vacation with bedbugs, then sure, you can choose it :) :)

Parking is difficult in Ayvalık, but the hotel is right in the center with everything nearby. Our room was small and had no window. We stayed for two nights without any problems, and having the key to the front door meant there was no hassle with reception when we arrived or left.

Avlulu Konak feels natural, clean, and peaceful, much like Ayvalık itself. We loved the quiet rooms, their distinctive atmosphere, and the kind hostess who greeted us. You can stay here with complete peace of mind. 👏👏

It's just a minute on foot from Ayvalık town square, and the price is reasonable. The location is excellent, and the air conditioning cools well, but it's extremely noisy and broken. It keeps making noise even when switched off, so some people may not be able to sleep. There was no reception or friendly service. We were told we could leave our belongings when we arrived, but on the last day they made it clear they didn't want us to. Room 22 was a little damp because it has no window. Cleanliness was mediocre, with cobwebs in the upper corners and small marks on the sheets.

Staying in a historic mansion tucked into Ayvalık's old streets for two nights made for a lovely experience. The rooms were very clean, we could easily get what we needed, and the attention we received made us very happy. A warm, friendly woman looked after us and offered useful suggestions for the island. Thank you, Avlulu Konak, for adding something special to our holiday.
