Bacacan Otel

There’s a beautiful sea view and a big restaurant, plus a lovely deck out back. The staff were really helpful, especially the accountant. I had booked through Agoda, but the hotel website had lower prices. They let me rebook there and approved a refund for my non-refundable booking. That was extremely generous of them.

I was very pleased with the care and attention from the employees. The hotel had everything I was looking for: indoor parking, spacious rooms, a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety, a stylish concept, and a beautiful view. The location, structure, and hygiene were all amazing. I’ll definitely choose it again on my next visit.

The sea-front setting and breakfast view are nice, and it’s close to the port, so it’s convenient if you don’t have a car. But the decor, materials, and service felt cheap and distasteful for the price. I was asked for 25 EUR more than the Booking price because of the exchange rate. I offered to pay cash in EUR to avoid extra charges, but they wouldn’t give me a receipt until checkout. When I asked to pay then, the staff said, “No pay, no room!” even though my credit card was registered as a guarantee with Booking. I found that rude and unprofessional. They didn’t speak much English, and the issue was resolved after we talked with the manager, but by then I was already quite upset.

Lovely staff, and the location was great for finding food and walking around. We stopped here for a break on the drive from Izmir to Istanbul, and they made us feel at home. Teşekkür! Cheers, can’t wait to visit again.
