Ayvalik Cinar Hotel

Çınar Hotel was a relaxing place to stay, with a warm atmosphere where I felt at ease. The people there seemed trustworthy and genuinely caring. Everyone was enthusiastic and helpful, always making an effort to get things right. I’m really glad I stayed and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, enjoyable visit. H. Altindas

I’d love to return next year and see the staff again. During my six days here, the employees were tireless and always ready to help, and Mrs. Burcu and I communicated very well. I’m grateful to everyone I dealt with, as well as the Back Office team. Their work is what makes a holiday special. My room was large, cleaned every day, and faced the sea. The food was fresh, plentiful, varied, and cooked very well. I feel I made the right choice for a successful vacation.

There was no hot water after 5 pm for four days in a row. We weren’t told about this when we booked or checked in, and nothing changed during our stay. The water was freezing in the afternoons and evenings. We complained at reception and were assured it would be fixed, but after returning from the beach before dinner we still had to take cold showers. That ruined the good impression we had on arrival. The receptionists kept saying it would be sorted, then gave us no updates. I wouldn’t return for that reason. The beach right in front of the hotel was a plus, and we could use the umbrellas and lounge chairs for free. At dinner, the hot food selection was very limited and there were always queues. The salads and cold meze had a good selection. All-inclusive included only machine coffee, which tasted like cheap instant coffee. It’s a shame Turkish coffee wasn’t offered while we were in Turkey. A couple of nights, loud music from a nearby hotel or bar could be heard even with the window shut. Wi-Fi worked well in the rooms, but elsewhere in the hotel the connection was terrible or unavailable.

I regret checking in here. It was my first stay at a hotel where I was told to carry my own bags to the room and find parking, with no help from the staff. Their attitude was poor and they weren’t welcoming. The bathroom was filthy, with urine left on the toilet seat, and the face towel was dirty too. I have photos to prove it. Don’t be taken in by the hotel pictures. We had also paid for lunch hours that we couldn’t use: our arrival time was when lunch ended, and the next day lunch would be served while we were out. This was my first and last time staying here.
