Cunda Labris Hotel

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were quite clean. It’s a lovely little place with a pretty view and a good location.

We ended up extending our stay and are already planning to return. The air around the hotel felt magical, and for the price it was exceptional. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the town center, with parking at the back and markets nearby if you need provisions. I walked up to the windmill, then back down through the charming cobbled villages to the city center, or merkez. The grounds had a Tuscan feel, with traditional Turkish stone buildings, patios, gardens, pomegranate trees, greenery, and a quaint backyard fountain with a finca-like look. We had a delicious Turkish breakfast made from scratch there. Our spacious room was immaculately clean and decorated with a modern take on Turkish Aegean life. On the first floor, we had our own table and chairs where we could enjoy tea while looking toward the waterfront. The hotel has a lovely view of Cunda Island and sights like the renovated windmill overlooking it. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and we wanted for nothing. Reception told us about the pool below, but we didn’t have time to use it. It felt more like a country estate than an ordinary hotel. I hesitate to say too much because I worry others will discover this hidden gem on Turkiye’s western coast. It’s easily one of my favorite hotels and one of the best places I’ve had the pleasure of staying.

We only stayed one night, but what a lovely hotel. The sea view was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. There was even a lovely spa bath.

The location and cleanliness were great, and there’s private parking too. Breakfast was the weak point, with too little variety. Thanks for the hospitality.
