Cunda Morisi Otel

The mini-fridge really summed up the stay: I opened it looking for water and found expired, moldy cheese and drinks. I booked online and stayed just one day. The room was neglected and cleaning seemed careless, and the so-called sea-view room offered only a narrow little glimpse of the water. It was a terrible experience, and I would have looked for another hotel if staying longer. Maybe upkeep was neglected because it was the end of the season, but at these prices they should make more of an effort.

The one part we liked was breakfast. The omelet was made just how we asked, and that was good. Everything else about our two nights in the red family room with three adults and one child was disappointing for what we paid, especially since we chose the hotel based on its ratings and reviews. The room had no balcony, so we used garden chairs for our wet clothes. The bathroom was cramped, with hardly any room around the toilet. Its wall was damp, green and peeling, the drain smelled bad all the time, the shower corners had mold, and the shower head and taps were covered in limescale. The shower door was broken and let water out. Cleanliness overall was very poor. We also didn't find the friendliness mentioned in other reviews. At checkout, the owner sat beside us without even saying hello. We left our key with the woman in the kitchen and checked out on our own.

Ms. Ecem was so attentive, and the breakfasts were delicious. Big thanks to Ms. Şafak for the lovely cooking! They even offered us breakfast when we arrived well before check-in on the first day, which we appreciated. The room was smaller than we expected and didn't have a balcony, but that was fine since we only slept there. The beach is closer than the center, which takes a 10-15 minute walk. The owner and staff were so warm and caring that we felt very comfortable. Thanks for everything.

The garden breakfasts were especially lovely, and I was comfortable there with my baby. From check-in on, the place felt like family and everyone took such careful care of us. The rooms and hotel were clean, and the garden was really pleasant. Ceyda Hanım and Ecem Hanım were always offering us coffee with a smile, and Şafak Hanım made the lovely breakfasts. Thank you all.
