Cunda Şira Butik Otel

A lovely place to stay in Cunda. The owner was friendly and very helpful. It was extremely clean, with a great sea view and a wonderful breakfast.

Magnificently clean, in a great location, and family-owned.

The buffet breakfast was tasty and satisfying, and the hotel is easy to reach on the main road, close to the sea. Still, at 4500 TL per night in August, it felt expensive for a place without a pool. We had an average stay overall. The rooms were medium-sized with basic essentials, but no minibar or kettle. The shower cubicle was half-open, and there was a hairdryer. During our stay we only got one bar of soap and two shampoo bottles, with no daily cleaning. We barely interacted with staff, but some small things were missing: it would help to check the toilets every two days and top up soap and toilet paper. You could consider it if you want somewhere easy to reach near the sea, but the price for what you get could be better. I wouldn't return, since most apart-hotels offer more for the same amenities. There's a small cafe in Ayvalık that serves daily breakfast for 250 lira per person, so this hotel has no advantage and plenty of shortcomings.

The sea-view terrace was a real treat, and the rooms were clean and tidy. It's a small, charming island guesthouse. Since it was our first time in Cunda, we asked for ideas on places to visit, and their suggestions were excellent. I'd definitely recommend asking them.
