We had a lovely four-day stay at Hanole Macaron while exploring Ayvalik. The location is perfect, less than two minutes from the harbor and close to lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was the highlight, varied, tasty, different every day, with unlimited çay and coffee. The hosts were so kind and gave us a really warm welcome. The traditional houses are beautiful, but the soundproofing is weak. I'm a light sleeper, and sometimes other guests' noise woke me up. The shower wasn't draining properly either, though they fixed it quickly on the second day. For next time, I'd appreciate a water fountain to refill my bottle, and motion-sensing lights in the common areas, since guests sometimes forgot to switch them off.

The location is perfect and breakfast was very good. Ms. Hande and Mr. Oleg are experienced, attentive owners who checked in with us and the other guests throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. They were also very helpful with parking our car. I've never met more attentive owners. Having slippers in the room was a lovely touch, and we definitely recommend the place.

Right in the heart of Ayvalık, among Macaron's historic streets, this is a wonderful place to stay. We were there for two days on holiday and found the rooms clean and pleasant. The breakfast was our favorite, a real Aegean breakfast. A special thanks to Hande and Oleg for their hospitality. 💐 Definitely worth a visit.

The owners were warm, attentive, and very hospitable, and the homemade breakfast treats were delicious. I especially loved the mastic-flavored blackberry jam. Hanole Macaron has a calm, soulful feel, with an elegant atmosphere that lifts your mood as soon as you walk in. The rooms were spotlessly clean and carefully decorated. I'd happily stay here again the next time I'm in Ayvalık.

My wife and I spent three days here and had a wonderful time. The guesthouse is right in the city center, yet on a really quiet street. Our room was spacious and comfortable, everything was clean, and breakfast was excellent. We're looking forward to coming back.
