Mutlu Köy Nostalji Tatil Köyü

The kids had a nice playground, and the staff were very friendly. We came for breakfast at this beautiful spot; the Turkish food was authentic and there was plenty of it, so nobody left hungry.

I went twice last summer and would happily return. The farm setting has lovely outdoor seating, with a nostalgic village feel up in the mountains. Breakfast was amazing, from the honey, cheeses, olives and fresh pastries, including börek and puffs, to the sourdough bread. Turkish tea is served without limit. If you go for breakfast, take a look around the museum too; it has some great Turkish artefacts.

The place was annoyingly crowded when we visited in mid-August. The location is quite nice in summer, with a breeze that keeps you cool, and you can buy good-quality local olive products at reasonable prices. It's a decent spot to try a traditional Turkish breakfast, though nothing about it was extraordinary.

It gets busy, so go early or book ahead, and leave yourself 2-3 hours if you want to enjoy everything. The village restaurant serves serpme breakfast, with different olives, vegetables, honey and more. The servings seem small, but there's so much variety that you leave full. It's family-friendly, with things for children to do, from horse riding to trampoline jumping. There's also a small zoo and accommodation with a pool.
