We only ended up in Ayvalik by chance, but what luck to find this place. The hosts were so thoughtful and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless with lovely art all around and a great location. They made us feel like family, greeting us with Turkish coffee and homemade treats, then serving a wonderful full Turkish breakfast in the morning. They really made our trip, and I’d love to come back.

Missing my ferry left me needing a room for the night in Ayvalik, so I booked Papazin Konagi in a hurry. It turned out to be one of my best stays. The owners gave me maps and ideas for what to see, and were always up for a good conversation. They also kept bringing coffee and biscuits, and were incredibly hospitable. The room was clean, the air-conditioning worked well, and the mattress was very comfortable. I appreciated that the bottom sheet was properly fitted on the bed, too. The rooms are affordable for all kinds of travelers. I can’t recommend the place enough.

Papazin Konagi was a lucky find in Ayvalik. From my first enquiry until we left, the team were wonderful and did more than expected to help us. The room was beautifully presented, and the property’s history meant a lot to us. It’s in an ideal location. Highly recommended.

Staying at Adman and Bahar's hotel felt like stepping back in time, and the room looked just like its photos. Everything was very clean, yet the internet was impressively fast at 64mps. Adnan and Bahar were so kind and made sure I had what I needed. Breakfast was a lovely surprise, with plenty of delicious choices. I took the photo before the freshly made omelette arrived. I’d happily stay there again.

A lovely, friendly dog named Linda, a storeroom where we could keep our tandem, and a great room and breakfast. Such a friendly place to stay.
