The beds weren’t very comfortable, but it worked well for a night when all we needed was a place to sleep and shower. Staff were really sweet and friendly, and breakfast was included and very nice. We paid $60 for two with breakfast and were happy with that. It’s a simple, older hotel right across from the water. The rooms facing the sea have a nice view, and there’s a small balcony on the second floor that anyone can use, as well as a restaurant on the first floor.

The sea view is great, and some of the clean, comfortable rooms have balconies and a fridge. Staff are friendly, and breakfast is good even in the off season. Wi-Fi can be slow, around 5 Mbit/s, and the beds aren’t especially comfortable.

The hosts are lovely, and I’d happily stay in the “Deniz” room again. Its name means sea in Turkish. If you can, book a balcony room with a sea view, it’s lovely. The hotel is right by the water, just across the street, so you can go swimming. My photo shows the view from the yard where we had breakfast 😊😊

The family who run Sözer hotel were warm and gracious, and the hotel and rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent too. It’s a great location, away from the city center’s bustle but still within a 15-minute walk at most. The small beach nearby is just two minutes away. Some rooms have balconies, and each floor also has a shared one that you can usually enjoy by yourself. I highly recommend it.

I really loved staying here. The hosts were the most hospitable I’ve met, always ready to help and offer tea or coffee. Our room was simple and clean, just what we wanted, and you could see the care that went into it. The price for the room was incredible. It’s a little outside the busy downtown area, which made it nice and quiet.
