We came for Sunday breakfast with my husband, our family, and our six-month-old daughter. The animals and the chance to walk her around the property were what attracted us. With a reservation, we still couldn't get anything brought to our table. Service felt uninterested, our food took a long time, and parts of the order never arrived. My brother-in-law waited about 20 minutes for a bottle of water. The advertised “homemade Nutella” had no hazelnuts at all, and the olive oil seemed clearly low quality and store-bought. For Ayvalik, in Turkey's olive oil region, that felt ridiculous. The staff weren't welcoming or friendly. We won't be back.

I haven't felt so at home in a long time. It's a beautiful place with lots of animals, and the food was incredible, especially the mantı. If you're ever in ayvalik, be sure to visit.
