The Mira House

We spent the weekend here, and sitting by the fireplace was especially enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was filling, and both the atmosphere and the rooms were wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. It's the best boutique hotel we've visited, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

We'd stay here again. It's about 10-12 km from central Ayvalık, but that distance didn't matter to us since we had a car. It's also near the olive-producing factories and Küçükköy. The quiet breakfast outdoors, looking out at nature, was relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was filling and adequate, with poğaça, Tel white cheese and kaşar cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and two kinds of jam, though nothing surprising. The Mira otel stands out for its quiet and historic building and decor. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and air-conditioned, but you can hear noise from other rooms. It reminds me of old highland houses, and it has its own parking.

The stone building, scenery, and surroundings give this older hotel a pleasant Tuscan stone-house feel. It's quiet and away from the center, with its own parking; the bar and music weren't disruptive. We felt very welcome, and the atmosphere was lovely. Still, breakfast felt meager for the price, with no notable hot option. The sheets and towels were worn and due for replacement, and I found the unusual pillowcases uncomfortable. I think renovations could make it one of the area's standout hotels.

I stayed here with my daughters last year and was very happy with the visit. If you want some calm away from Istanbul's hustle and bustle, this is a great fit. We love nature and are thinking of coming again 🙏❣️
