From 12-6pm, the small water park and pool are open to the public, with an entry fee of 25tl per person. There’s a nearby seating area and cafe serving kofte, hamburger and toast varieties.

The Aqua Park is on the small side, but it’s enough to keep children happy, and the poolside food and drinks are tasty, great and reasonably priced. The complex among the olive trees is a setting I’d recommend. People who are very picky and can’t live with small imperfections may be happier somewhere else, since they could disturb the comfort of guests who are relaxed here. We spent about a week in the comfortable three-story villa-style houses, which sleep 6 and have a lovely, if slightly old, terrace. They had what we needed, including a refrigerator, and we managed everything ourselves. Shops nearby were easy to reach for supplies. The rubbish outside the houses is collected daily, so there wasn’t a garbage smell around the complex. At first glance, the family apartment complex may not impress, but the manager and his family made our holiday wonderful amid all that nature. Thanks to Mr. Hasan, his family and all the other lovely people who helped us time and again. We hope we can visit again next year and be guests there. We’ll miss it. Ugurgun and his family.

The staff, especially manager Hasan Bey and waiter Basri, were attentive and very friendly. Compared with most apartment villas, we had a tremendous time, and I’m grateful to everyone at Zeytin Apart. The setup includes 12 villas in one of Ayvalık’s most beautiful locations. Each villa has a double bed in one bedroom, four beds across two children’s rooms, a living room, kitchen, three balconies, three bathrooms and a toilet, plus a top-floor terrace. The kitchen is equipped for a family of 6, with two portable tables, a washing machine and a water heater. There’s also a barbecue on the terrace with a stunning sea view. The aquapark has a very clean, beautiful pool: about 30 m² across and 120 cm deep for adults, plus a children’s area of 120 m² across and 50 cm high. A buffet-style minibar serves tasty food and drinks by the pool at very reasonable prices. The aquapark pool is open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The pool is very clean, and they occasionally take temperatures for guests who pay a fee. For this time of year, I think the price is quite reasonable. Don’t rely on prices shown on holiday websites, call directly for a quote. The staff don’t mind at all if women wear headscarves in the pool. There are no prayer rugs in the villa. Mosquitoes are a recurring problem in the Zeytinlik area. They spray frequently, but it doesn’t seem to help enough, and most windows and doors have no screens. There’s no air conditioning in the villas, though I wouldn’t call that a complete drawback. Opening the windows brings in a breeze, but then the mosquitoes are a problem. They’ve made a special arrangement with the company officials and said they’ll take immediate action about the mosquitoes. My camping and apartment reviewer score: 8 out of 10. Price: 2 points, pool: 2, hygiene and cleanliness: 2, staff: 1, location and transportation: 1. Mosquitoes cost 2 points. A great address for a convenient holiday.

For 700 lira a night, this felt far too expensive for what you get, especially since there’s nothing there except the pool. The beds and furnishings are poor and incomplete, and the terrace has no table or chairs. The pool seems large in the photos, but it’s actually small. There’s a baby pool and a children’s pool, but no adult pool. It gets crowded because they only let in daily visitors, and the hours are very limited, supposedly for cleaning. Our child got an infection. I can show the prescription to anyone who doubts that.
