Zoi Seaside Cunda

The money wasn't worth it. Many beaches had already stopped operating by mid-September, at the end of a long summer in Cunda and Ayvalik, so we gave this one a try. The restaurant looked deserted and we decided not to risk eating there. There was no service, and the deck chairs were often broken or unusable. The steps into the water were in terrible shape too. It could be a cute, lovely place, but it needs better attention to detail, more care for the property, and proper service. Based on this visit I can't recommend it, and I wouldn't want to see the rooms either. Hopefully they sort things out before next summer.

Mr. Doruk was friendly and helpful throughout, and gave us ideas for things to do in Cunda and Ayvalık. That was a real plus. We booked caravan number 15 after he talked us through the concerns we'd seen in reviews, but on arrival they gave us number 10 instead. Its veranda had no shade, so the area outside wasn't pleasant for sitting, and we couldn't get the fridge to work. We didn't spend much time there, though, and used the shared refrigerator for anything we wanted to keep cold. We chose a three-person caravan for our two-night, three-day honeymoon at Zoi Side. If you're considering a caravan here, it helps to understand caravan life. Expecting a hotel or guesthouse could leave you disappointed. Our air conditioning worked very well, everything inside was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the shower and toilet were fine. We were allowed to bring our own food and drinks. Around 9 in the morning they served tea, pastries, bagels, cakes, and similar things. There were dogs wandering around, but I think the reviews make it sound worse than it was. I saw maybe three, and they didn't bother anyone. Watching them among the greenery from the veranda was actually enjoyable. The pool could have been bigger, as could many of the shared areas. We couldn't find an empty sunbed when we wanted to swim in the sea. It's rocky, so bring water shoes. The wedding hall next door was a problem. We'd hoped for a peaceful nature getaway after our wedding, but it felt like being at another wedding, with loud "Erik Dalı," "Ankara," and "Romani" music going on for ages. Thankfully, it finished before midnight. Still, we had a nice holiday. We might rent a bungalow if we come back. Best regards...

The setting is fantastic, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves nature. I spent three days there over the holiday, and the staff were helpful.

We came for a day at the beach. The location is lovely, it's quiet, and the sea was beautiful. But the place is badly neglected, and although staff were constantly running around, the service just wasn't there. We didn't want to eat once we saw the state of things. We asked for Turkish coffee and were told hot coffee isn't served on the beach, though they did bring food to people who ordered it. Then we requested soda, but they said they couldn't provide a cup and wouldn't even give us the drink. For a little more money, you can go somewhere much better. There's really nothing appealing about this place.
