We've stayed here four times. It's a comfortable place, though not perfect, and the staff are lovely and try to sort out any problems. During our 24-hour stay, I think we were offered Turkish tea six times. The hotel is very central, close to both the bus and train stations. Balikesir is a great stop on the way to or from Izmir, Selcuk, or the eastern Greek islands. It's an authentic place with few or no tourists, and one or two nights is great. The Hamams are very good too.

The room was okay and clean, and we stayed for one night. Noise was a problem until 1 a.m., with men talking loudly below our window and scooters revving late into the night. There was no parking, so we had to find a spot and walk back, then do the same with our suitcase when returning to the car. The nearby streets are one-way, making the hotel hard to find on arrival. It's down a small side street, with lots of scooters parked in front.

The room was clean and affordable, and the desk staff were kind, welcoming and ready to help whenever asked. There's a small restaurant right next door with excellent food and hospitality. Breakfast there is worth having.

A nice place in a good area. The staff are great, especially Anas, who's really helpful and polite.
