The staff were fine, and breakfast was very traditionally Turkish. The hotel is downtown, which is convenient, but it feels old-fashioned and a bit worn. The bathroom has the same dated feel, especially the very old-style shower.

The rooms were clean, the internet was good, and the restaurant food was good too. But the rooms were far too hot, around 25°C, and the air-conditioning didn’t work. Opening a window didn’t help, while an electric heater was on in the corridor. The staff don’t speak English.

Özge at reception was excellent and very pleasant. At dinner the restaurant’s QR code wouldn’t work on my phone, but the staff sorted it out for me.

The rooms were great quality and the hotel was very good. The main downside was that the staff didn’t speak English at all. Ozge was the only employee who did, which was a real help and made things work properly.
