The rooftop restaurant has a nice view, though its price-to-quality ratio isn't a strong point. The hotel is well placed for a late walk along the seafront, especially in summer, and offers different services including a swimming pool. I usually stay here for business. I'd strongly recommend it for business accommodation, even though it's outside the city and there aren't many places to walk to, just the seaside and a few nearby restaurants.

I wish the indoor pool opened earlier so I could swim before work. It would also help if the invoice could be slipped under my door overnight, so I wouldn't have to remember to pick it up from the desk when I'm rushing in the morning.

The stay was pleasant overall, and the property is very well located in the İzmit area. Being by the sea does mean occasional noise from vehicles playing loud music, which is the one downside.

It's about service, and in my life this is the first time I've seen a 5 star hotel without a cigar cutter and lighter. The staff's hospitality is better than the manager's?!
