Kallinos Boutique Hotel

The pizzas are a must, and the coffee is divine. The rooftop restaurant has a view of the ruins and part of town, and the hotel is within walking distance of many sights and the bus port for Ephesus. Tour buses right outside could be off-putting, but they stop around 5pm, so it gets nice and quiet in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised by the location of this cute, welcoming hotel. Our room was spacious, with a clean, modern bathroom and a little balcony to relax on. We’d definitely come back if we get the chance.

Ayse, who cooked breakfast, was so nice and friendly, and the breakfast was made to order for each guest. The hotel owners also run a delicious pizza and coffee shop, which made things convenient and rounded out the stay. The room and bathroom were new, clean and comfortable. The hotel faces Basilica Saint Johns, and you can walk to the Mosque and temple of Artemis. It’s in a lovely neighborhood of stone paving and beautiful houses. I’d stay here again on a future visit to Selcuk.

It was very quiet at night, and whenever we needed something, the family running this hotel were happy to help. The place has a nice look and a great view of the basilica. It’s close to taxis for Ephesus and a short walk from local food spots. I’m not sure whether the water is safe to drink. There’s a filter, so you can take your bottles downstairs and ask them to refill them, though you might need a translate app. If I come back to Selcuk, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The staff were welcoming, kind and hospitable during our two-day stay, and were very helpful with all our questions. Our room was spotless and kept clean throughout. Kallinos Boutique Hotel is centrally located near the main town area. We can’t wait to return, and couldn’t recommend it more!
