The meal selection was nothing like the booking photos. At lunch, the food was completely cold when we got ours at 12:35, and other guests were warming theirs in a microwave. There were no labels on the dishes, so we couldn’t tell what was what. That’s especially difficult if you have a food allergy, and staff couldn’t communicate in English. At the desk, the man couldn’t communicate with us. That’s understandable, and he could have said English wasn’t easy and suggested Google Translate, but that wasn’t how he handled it. In our room, the sheet had holes and the towels were stained. This is a hygiene and quality problem. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It’s not a three-star place, more like one star.

The food and facilities made this stay miserable. Breakfast was one boiled egg served by the same person, who didn’t look properly dressed and seemed unhygienic, and guests only had an hour, from 8 to 9. Lunch ran 12:30-13:30 and had no meat, just poorly prepared vegetables. Dinner from 18:00-19:00 seemed to be leftovers from lunch. The juice was water with syrup, the coffee machine made mostly water, and red wine was the only alcohol available, and it was the cheapest kind. The pool was dirty and cold, and the beach was very dirty and full of rocks. This didn’t feel all-inclusive at all, and we ended up eating at outside restaurants, as we did throughout the stay. I wouldn’t recommend Beldibi Beach Hotel. On arrival, there was a man asleep on a lobby couch who smelled extremely bad and didn’t speak any English. The room had dirty sheets with hair all over them. I complained at reception, but instead of apologizing, the receptionist picked the hair off with his hand, said “good,” and walked away without a word. The reception area was sticky and unclean too.

The rooms were surprisingly clean, though nothing special, but rubbish bags were left in the corridors for over three days. WiFi wasn’t free either, it cost 5 euros a day or 9 euros for two days. I won’t come back. The food was cold and we had to heat it in a microwave. There was little fruit, just apples and mandarins, and the same sponge cake soaked in syrup every day. I found the cook unprofessional and immature, always frowning and not acting like a grown man. Food choice and quality were poor: a few bits of chicken and little else, one egg and one salami per person, a few unappealing drinks, and only one kind of baguette each day. The pastries weren’t good either. As a diabetic, I had no choice of food that worked for me.

The all-inclusive package was a complete letdown. Nothing in the Booking presentation matched what we found, and nothing was edible. The supposed private beach wasn’t there, and daily cleaning didn’t happen. When I asked to have towels and linen changed, they refused. Food was another disappointment. Breakfast eggs were rationed to one each and watched over by hotel staff. Lunch had no meat, only a slice of what seemed to be fried chicken salami placed on a slice of orange, one portion per person. The other dishes were tasteless baked or boiled vegetables. Salads were leftovers from the previous day, and there was no oil, vinegar, salt, or pepper in the kitchen, so we had to buy those separately at a shop. It was all a big lie in their presentation on Booking.

The food was absolutely horrible, and service wasn’t any better. In the evening, they turned off the lights in the pool and bar area even when 10 or 20 people were still sitting there. They didn’t seem to care.
