Magic Sun Hotel

The restaurant staff were amazing, working overtime, and the food really was tasty and different every day. It's Turkish cuisine, but there's something for everyone if you get there before the crowds take everything. Staff mostly speak Russian and Turkish, but they're friendly and try to help. The tourists, though, had zero manners or etiquette around meals. It was like the Hunger Games, so arrive on time or they'll take all the food, even if they can't eat it all. A lot gets wasted, or people take it to the beach or save it for shows later. The hotel itself felt dirty, though I wouldn't blame the staff. I saw them cleaning, and I know Turks put a lot of effort into cleaning. Housekeepers did their job every day: made the bed, changed the sheets, and brought fresh towels. You get what you pay for. It's not luxurious and should be a 3-star hotel. The room was good aside from the ventilation, which was basically just a hole where the vent should have been. We could see through it, and it was right over our heads when sitting on the toilet. I worried a mouse or something might fall through. The room is old, though they have renovated some of it. There's nothing on the beach except a water dispenser. Get there by 8am if you want a sunbed, because it gets crowded and people reserve them overnight. For tours, skip the agencies and use the local one right next to the hotel. It's much cheaper and worth the money.

Families with kids will enjoy this location, but I think a single traveler would get bored. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach, and there's a large pool on the hotel grounds where kids can have fun while adults enjoy the non-stop bar service. The service was very good for a 4-star hotel. The hamam was absolutely amazing and highly recommended, though the meat and fish choices at meals could be better.

Can from the entertainment staff made me feel welcome right away. He's warm, charismatic, and friendly, with a professional manner that made my stay unforgettable. He seems to understand what guests need and acts proactively to help meet those needs. Even when things get hectic, he stays calm and composed. His positive attitude and dedication made me feel like a VIP. I can't praise Can enough. He's a real asset to the hotel and a great example of its staff. Thank you, Can, for such outstanding service. I'd love to come back!

We got home yesterday after our stay at Magic sun hotel, and I highly recommend it. The food was very tasty, the staff were fantastic, and we had a fantastic holiday. The massages there are the best in the world 😊
