The food and staff made this a really poor stay. I was there for a week, and the meals were so bad that I ate at a restaurant on six of the days. The staff were dreadful most of the time. We waited several hours past the promised time to get our rooms, and the rooms were still dirty when we finally got them. The bathroom was dirty, cramped, and had no light. The pool, which seemed to be the hotel's only real amenity, was under maintenance for 25 percent of my stay. There was some free Coca-Cola now and then. Don't trust the positive Turkish reviews for this hotel, most of them are written by staff.

I left completely unhappy with this hotel and wouldn't recommend staying here. People were often protesting at the bar over getting a drink, and many guests were unhappy with the poor quality food. We were there for a week. The meals were tasteless, repetitive, and sometimes seemed to have been cooked twice. During cleaning, staff served food without washing their hands. The bar glasses were dirty and appeared to be rinsed with just a little water. Our bathroom ceiling leaked from the shower above, making it unusable. We told staff and the hotel manager several times, but they did nothing to fix it or move us. Water also dripped from the cooler and left the floor completely wet. The pool water was dirty, and the air conditioner was used only once. There was no refrigerator in the room, so we couldn't have a cold drink between 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM. This place was worse than a boarding house.

It's a cheap hotel, but the worst one I've ever booked. The air conditioner didn't work, and we were freezing at night. The food smelled and tasted bad. Staff only spoke Turkish, and when you spoke another language, they acted as though you were arguing with them.

This hotel needs a complete renovation and repairs. The first room we were given had a broken lock, and we spent a night there. When I pointed it out, the receptionist called it "normal." The second room was terribly dirty too, just like the first. The staff only spoke Russian and Turkish, with no English, German, or Spanish. I tipped the reception and bar workers because the hotel's miserable state wasn't their fault. I can't recommend this place.

This season we came to Melody Hotel four times, and it has become a second home for my son and me. The mountain view is beautiful, and the hotel is calm and quiet. The pool isn't very big, which makes it good for children, and there's free Wi-Fi. It's set back from the main road. The food and service are in line with the hotel's star rating. Every minute here will stay in our hearts. If we get another chance to visit Kemer, we'll choose Melody Hotel again. Thank you to all the staff for such a memorable rest!
