Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & SPA

The Faldo course was in excellent condition. The hotel itself is solid, with very good food and a lovely SPA, though I wish the indoor pool water were warmer. We paid for unlimited golf, but there were no tee times available, which made that offer pretty pointless.

We’d had many great stays at Cornelia de Luxe hotel, with excellent service, food, and accommodation, so we expected something similar at Cornelia Diamond. It was a completely different experience. The hotel is enormous and attracts large, noisy groups of golfers. The bar area offered no way to get away from rowdy groups of both women and men. I wouldn’t recommend it to couples or anyone hoping for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of other hotels in the area with much better service and accommodation. Avoid this one.

The mini club was the best we’ve experienced, and the staff there were so kind and caring. We even had lunch with the kids at the club restaurant on some days, and the food was really tasty. We came with our children, and all the staff we met were friendly, attentive, and helpful. There were plenty of pools, including an adults-only one. Sometimes we left the kids at the mini club and enjoyed a bit of quiet time ourselves. Service was excellent and there was a great variety of food. We had a wonderful stay at Cornelia Diamond, and I’d love to return.

The restaurant service was fast and attentive. As soon as we sat down, staff brought water, hot drinks, or other beverages, and cleared dishes and waste promptly. The main restaurant is spacious and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food was plentiful, delicious, and varied, with a wide choice. Bubbles is open all day and night, but you order your meals there. The hotel has lovely gardens, a spacious decorated lobby with different drinks, and a clean, beautiful beach with a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. Pools were clean, and there’s an indoor pool too, though it’s only about 140 cm deep. Dome restaurant is outdoors behind the hotel near the pools. There’s also a small nightclub at the back, but it was nearly empty when I went in. The activities and shows were limited, perhaps because it was near the end of the tourism season. I stayed four days, and it rained on two of them. There’s a large conference hall with a good sound system. Antalya city center is about an hour away by taxi, costing around 40-50 €.
