Ela Excellence Resort Belek

This was our third visit in two years, and once again it felt like a home away from home, especially with our two boys, who have additional needs. We stayed ten nights, though it went by far too fast. The team gave our family so much care and attention. After arriving late, we were welcomed by two friendly young men at the entrance. ELA assigns assistants to coordinate what guests need, and Muhammed Mustafa, Umutcan, and Tayfun looked after us with professionalism and sensitivity. Their manager, Ulinana, is a real asset. We first received an upgraded room with an in-room jacuzzi, which thrilled our youngest. But we needed a standard accessible room to better suit his needs, so we were probably the only guests to ask for a downgrade. Muhammed understood and moved us that same night. Our older son was happy with the change, though the youngest was sad to lose the jacuzzi. Hayat had a lovely range of food each day, served by hardworking, professional staff. Chef Nuri at the Turkish station and the woman making Uzbek food stood out, as did Ibrahim Bey at the grill. We enjoyed the fish station and sushi night, which was our first time trying sushi. Breakfast had an incredible spread, especially the omelets, honey, kaymak, and fresh juices. The 24/7 Anatolian Restaurant was great for fresh Lahmachun, and the patisserie had what I’d call the best macarons on earth. Taco night wasn’t really our thing, and we didn’t love the curry choices, but there were always plenty of other dishes. Thanks to Esharaf, Sela, and Filiz for the wonderful baking. The Valentine’s Day display was a treat. The kids and teens programming was good, even though our children didn’t take part in everything. Bogdana listened so well and was great with the kids, and the mini-disco became our nightly highlight. Shaheen from the Teens Club was especially wonderful with our boys. He quickly learned how to communicate with and support a wheelchair user, and the kids adored him. Saying goodbye was very emotional.

The spa is cozy and pleasant, and the Hammam massage was the best I’ve ever had. Staff were lovely, friendly, and always ready to help. There’s excellent food with something new to try each day. A hotel I’d recommend.

We celebrated New Year’s at Ela Excellence Resort Belek for a second year in a row, and it was just as good this time. The food was varied and delicious, the service excellent, and the Kids Club was a paradise for children. It’s well organized and family friendly, with a lovely holiday feel for both adults and kids. We’ll definitely be back.

The children’s playroom is a standout, with lots of themed spaces and even little bedrooms for kids who get tired. There are also tennis courts, pools, spacious rooms, and a very good spa that felt professional, pleasant, and wonderfully relaxing. The hotel is to a high standard, and staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and helpful. Many thanks to Mehtapa, Tamapa, Halil, and the rest of the team. We also recommend an evening at the Japanese restaurant, where live cooking, delicious food, and a great atmosphere made for a fun night.
