We’re leaving tomorrow, and we’d happily have stayed longer if there were more to do nearby. The staff looked after us so well, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind, though we were out most days. Breakfast was a Turkish mix we loved, and the young man who served us every day and worked the bar was always cheerful and gave superb service. The manageress, I believe, also checked in most mornings to see how we were doing. Everyone was so nice. We’d originally booked another hotel, but a week before arrival we were told it had some “issues” and we couldn’t stay there. Since it was late September, they offered us a similar-sized room at The Local House. It was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was at least as good as, probably better than, the original booking. The location worked well for us with a car, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to historic old town Alacati and everything it offers, though prices these days can make you laugh 😆 On our first morning I asked the manager, I believe, about a larger room, perhaps one with a courtyard garden. She said she’d look into it and let us know later. When we returned, they offered us a free upgrade for our week-long stay. The second room was about 100 square feet larger, with a small outdoor space. It was perfect, and we were very grateful. Thank you to the team.

Alaçati is beautiful, and Çeşme is just a short minibus ride away. The Local House is a quiet, small hotel that worked perfectly for relaxing as a couple or with friends. The friendly, attentive staff, lovely pool area and generous complimentary Turkish breakfast made for a great stay. Most days, breakfast kept us going through lunch too. Rooms are comfortable, clean and a good size. The terrace rooms cost extra, but you get a larger room and a private terrace, so we thought the upgrade was worth it. The hotel is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated, with inspiration from a famous Turkish fashion designer (the original review doesn’t name them). It’s only a few minutes’ walk from historic Alaçati. For value and service, 10/10. And we can’t forget Zilli, the hotel cat, who charmed us every day.

Our luggage was delayed from Istanbul, and the host was incredibly friendly and helped us call the airline so it would arrive on time. The room was neat, the bedding comfortable, and breakfast had a great selection. It was a lovely stay.

The breakfast went way beyond what we expected, and the staff were attentive and genuinely friendly. The Local House Alaçatı is modern and spotlessly clean, with a great location. Parking was no problem at all, unlike at many places in Alaçatı. We’d definitely come back!

The common areas were being cleaned constantly, and the food and breakfast were extremely tasty. We were very satisfied with our stay. The products in the rooms were noticeably better quality than those at other hotels in the area. Thanks to hotel manager Görkem and the team. I’ll definitely visit again.
