The rooms have almost no sound insulation, so you can hear nearly everything from next door and it's hard to rest or sleep. We also couldn't find a reception number or contact details in the room until the last day, when I spotted them in the housekeeping bag. The beach is quite far, so getting there means taking the shuttle. Food was acceptable overall, with some tasty dishes and some not so good ones. The menu felt repetitive, especially the desserts, which were nearly the same each day. On the positive side, service was good and staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel is not bad overall.

We had a good holiday, but by the second night I felt drained. Two weeks would be too long; I'd suggest 10 nights. We booked day trips to the aquarium, Land of Legends, and a 4-in-1 extreme sports outing. The aquarium itself was cool, though our Jet2 rep was appalling: the trip took the whole day, but we were told on arrival we'd only have three hours there. A late pickup left us with 2.5 hours, the driver didn't know the pickup time, and we couldn't do everything we'd booked or even have lunch. It felt rushed and unprofessional. The hotel is beautiful, but in some places looks a bit worn, with missing corridor mirrors. Our room wasn't five star, and neither was the daily cleaning. Toiletries weren't topped up each day. Staff seemed to have limited knowledge and English, and came across a bit unprofessional. The room itself was lovely and cleaned daily. The location has little around it besides a local shop and clothes market; the beach is five minutes away by the hotel's shuttle. The small town center is about a 20 minute walk, with clothes and bag shops, a few cafes, and pharmacies. Evening entertainment was okay. The Beyoncé tribute was the best show; the rest felt a bit lost and was mostly dancing, which got boring. Restaurant staff were very attentive, sometimes taking plates as soon as you finished your last bite. The food was okay, but the same dishes most nights got boring quickly. Desserts looked impressive but tasted bland and much the same, with little flavor and labels that didn't match what they were. The two toasters didn't toast properly either. The pool was very clean, but there was no accessible entry for disabled guests, just standard metal side steps. Slopes could easily be added. The theme park needs serious investment: half the rides were worn out, or they should close it altogether. The patisserie was nicely presented, but nothing was on the tables, and staff there also didn't know English. People seemed to prefer euros, and paying in lira made things complicated.

We're back for a second stay at this hotel and still impressed by the staff and the range of things to do on site. This time we went to Lord Ink to cover an old tattoo. Alek did the work, and my wife got a couple of tattoos as well. We were really pleased with the results and would gladly recommend Lord Ink for holiday tattoos or cover-ups.

The cats around the hotel and dining areas made meals very unpleasant. At dinner I even found two cats on a table near the cutlery, and I considered going early just to avoid them. When my child cried because a cat was under the table, staff laughed. Hygiene and guest comfort need much more attention. I chose this hotel so my 3-year-old daughter could enjoy the facilities, but the children's pool was far too cold. The kids' club playground was also in poor shape, with old, rusty equipment. My daughter cut herself on the climbing frame, which is a serious safety concern and completely unacceptable. Our room was a very long walk from the main facilities. As a mother traveling alone with a young child, making that walk several times daily was exhausting and inconvenient. Room allocation should take solo parents with small children into account. The stay brought much more stress than enjoyment and didn't meet the standard we paid for. Given the safety problems, lack of maintenance, and inconvenience, I believe compensation is justified.
