Lapis Inn Hotel & Spa

Coffee was great, and the waiter was so welcoming and kind. We sat out on the terrace with an amazing view. I’d recommend it.

The staff made the stay feel special. Batu, Belgin, Felicya, Ali and Wilda were all incredibly friendly and lovely. I really hope I can come back, and I’m grateful for such a wonderful stay. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the highlight, with a fantastic selection too. The location is hard to beat. There was one drawback: from some rooms, music from a restaurant outside carried on until the early hours, though the AC drowned it out.

The rooms are on the small side, though they did the job. Noise could be an issue for light sleepers, with music and other sounds going into the early morning, but it didn't bother me. Breakfast could have offered more variety, while the coffee was amazing. The service was lovely, and Yaseen at the front desk was especially welcoming and friendly. Other staff members were friendly too and always said hello. The location is hard to beat: you can walk to shops and everything else, and the tram stops right outside. From breakfast, we could look out at the beautiful Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Bosphorous.

For the price, this hotel is right in the center of town, very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It's a two-minute walk to the tram. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast came with a great view from the terrace.
