The Wind Sycamore Holiday Villas in Belek

The pool was clean, and the front of house guy was genuinely helpful. The place does have potential, but it’s tatty and tired and needs investment. When I raised the broken air conditioning, the owner didn’t investigate at first. He stayed reclined on a sun lounger vaping. I was baking in the room and at 3am emailed him because I’d reached the end of my tether. It took three days of waiting before he fixed it. The owner also tried to charge us too much by conveniently forgetting the discount he’d promised. On arrival he tried the same thing, and we spent half an hour in the baking heat explaining that the price was wrong before the kids could get into the accommodation. Sorry, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I hope he puts money into bringing it up to standard.

We spent a week here with several families and were impressed by the place, facilities, and staff. The landlord and manager went far out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. My five-year-old daughter cried when it was time to leave the villa. I’d definitely recommend it.

We stayed for a week with friends. The host was lovely and did a lot to make sure we were comfortable. The place was clean, the staff friendly, and the pool was lovely. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the city centre and beach. I’d highly recommend it.

We left after just two days and moved to an all-inclusive resort. We didn’t even ask for our money back. There wasn’t anything to do in the surrounding area either. The villas weren’t equipped well enough for the 10 days we’d planned to stay. There were no umbrellas by the pool, and at night there was a smell near the sitting area, along with a lot of noise from a water pipe. You could hear everything from outside. The villas felt as flimsy as cardboard :)) Most concerning, the air conditioners didn’t seem to be filtered properly. Four of our group of ten got throat infections and lung infections with a 41 degree fever. Think twice before booking.
