Ali Bilir Otel

The room was a good size, and the location by Beyşehir lake is great for relaxing or going for a run, though the loop is very long 🤣. The big problem for us was the smoke smell in the non-smoking room. I stayed here twice, and both times it made my nose burn. They should fix it. The receptionist tried to help by spraying freshener.

There’s free parking in front, and the hotel was just right for our one-night stop. It’s in the centre of town, with a view of the lake. We enjoyed a stroll before eating at the restaurant overlooking the water and having a drink. It seems to be the only place in town with a bar. The staff were friendly.

The rooftop restaurant and bar was a real bonus, with a lovely view of Lake Beysehir, a good breakfast buffet, and a license to serve beer, drinks, and wine with a meal or while watching the sunset. I stayed four nights at Ali Bilir in Beysehir and found it delightful, with everything I needed and a few extras. The hotel was very clean. My room was spacious, with a great bed, an excellent bathroom, a small refrigerator I used a lot, and a safe. Check-in and checkout were easy. The front desk staff spoke some English, and Burcu was especially helpful and fluent. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Beysehir.

The staff were reasonably friendly, but the room was dirty and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I’d ordered a non-smoking room and asked to switch, but they said none were available. I wish there were more choices nearby, because this place was pretty bad overall.
