Halikarya Hotel & Restaurant Beach

We stayed four nights after a little adventure around Turkey, and this quiet, relaxing hotel was just what we needed. It’s right on the beach, with a lovely clean pool and a nice beach view at breakfast. The rooms are a decent size and have little balconies. Breakfast had a good selection and was more than enough. We also had lunch a couple of times, and the burgers are worth recommending. The staff were attentive, friendly, and very helpful throughout. Feyyaz was especially helpful and always nearby if we needed anything. Selçuk, the general manager, was helpful too and always greeted us with a welcoming smile. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

Kemal, Selçuk, and Abdullah at reception made the stay especially memorable. They welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine care, and were always ready to help, from making check-in smooth to sharing thoughtful suggestions for places to visit. Their local tips helped me find hidden gems I wouldn't have come across otherwise. The whole team's service was both professional and friendly, and these three went above and beyond. Their dedication reflects well on the hotel's guest care. I had a wonderful stay and felt right at home from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return. The mosque is close, so the call to prayer is loud. No alcoholic drinks are served. Wi-Fi only works in the lobby.

The beach and location are lovely, but everything else was terrible, and we regretted staying even one night. The room was very small, with barely enough room to move once a suitcase was open. There was no hot water, so we had to shower cold. The toilet was filthy when we arrived, there was a muddy footprint in the shower, and part of the shower window was missing. Breakfast was a complete disaster. With 45 minutes still left, almost all the food was gone. When we asked for more, they said they had run out. We had paid for bed and breakfast but couldn't get anything decent to eat, so we went hungry. The waiter spoke to us rudely. We wasted our money and had a terrible experience.
