Paloma Family Club

The kids had a great time with the pool slide and mini zoo, and we found plenty to do at the beach, promenade, and Bodrum centre. We didn't try the kids' club because it was closed on Sundays. Food was decent, with lots of salads, though the mains could be more exciting. We especially liked the grilled fish. The Italian restaurant looked good, but it was fully booked, so we didn't get to try it. For the price, our family stay at Paloma Family Club was better than expected and good value. The staff made it feel welcoming. A few drawbacks: smoking was common throughout, which wasn't great for non-smokers or children, the beds were a bit firm, and bathroom cleaning could be better. Some mould and mildew were still there after we reported it. Still, we'd return.

You can have either an adventurous trip or a relaxing family holiday here. The Bitez Paloma Family Club is a small, cozy hotel in a lovely area, and the city is only 10 to 15 minutes away by bus or taxi. The pool is great, with separate pools for babies, children, and adults. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, and the food was very good. It's a beautiful place, and I highly recommend it.

Getting to Bodrum is easy and cheap from this good location, and the a'la carte restaurant was good, with a very nice employee there. The hotel was generally clean and the cleaning was sufficient, but communication was difficult because the staff spoke little English. Some staff were nice, though the bartenders kept turning the music up and changing songs every few seconds, which got annoying. The rooms are small and dated. The bathroom especially needs renovation, since it looks dirty and rusty. Rooms near the bar had loud music until midnight every day. We reported it twice: reception sorted it out once, but ignored me the second time. Food was medium quality, not too bad, but repetitive, with the same meat and fish and no themed Italian or Greek days. There seemed to be too few sunbeds for the number of guests, and people left towels on them overnight, so early in the morning most were unavailable even when the beds were empty. The beach wasn't great either. Drinks were terrible, too sweet and artificial. White wine and beer were the only drinkable options.

The food was repetitive and not the best, even though I'm not a fussy eater. For younger children there wasn't much beyond burgers at snack time, and those weren't very good either. I didn't see the younger kids eating well. There wasn't much for children to do apart from one small slide, darts, and ping pong. Still, we had an amazing first trip abroad as a family. The staff were always lovely, friendly, and eager to help. Thanks for having us.
