El Vino Hotel Suites - Special Class

We loved sharing the place with the cats and the hotel dog, Kiki. El Vino is even prettier in person than it looks in the pictures. The views were gorgeous, breakfast was tasty, and our room was clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly, too.

The garden and pool area are amazing, and the restaurant was a real highlight. The food, wine, service, and view were all 5+. Breakfasts were lovely, and the other staff were good. The owner was very friendly, too. The building itself is nice, though the room felt very humid without the AC on. I did dislike how the host handled our room request. We'd booked seven months ahead and had asked for two separate beds since, as two men, we don't normally share one. The host came across as arrogant, basically saying take it or leave it, one double bed. Were they kidding? They then put a horrible couch in the room. The mattress was also too hard, to be honest. Still, it was a nice experience in Bodrum.

The rooms were very clean, and all the staff were amazing, so welcoming and helpful. El Vino Hotel Suites is well placed for exploring Bodrum on foot or by car, while staying outside the middle of the tourist center. We had a lovely stay.

The restaurant food and breakfast were both very good, and we liked the house wine as well. Prices felt reasonable. The hotel is tidy, with a quiet setting a little away from the loud center. I especially liked the garden and the room interiors, which are nicely designed and have thoughtful little details. I'll definitely book here on my next visit. It would be even better to see more sustainable choices, like refillable bath products instead of single-use ones.
