Gümbet Cove Hotel

The online photos gave a very misleading impression. The beach was small and dirty, with broken sunbeds, and the pool was cloudy and smelled strongly of chlorine. Breakfast was awful, with old products, hardly any choice, and not even decent coffee. The reception staff were unprofessional and didn't speak English, so every question or request became stressful and frustrating. They weren't willing to help, and often just shrugged or ignored us. For what it costs, this hotel is a complete rip-off. It ruined my holiday, and I would never return or recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious and filling, so you definitely won't leave hungry. There's also a restaurant and bar on site with reasonable prices, which made it easy to have a nice meal or a relaxed evening. The sea is just a few steps away, with clear water and a clean, beautiful beach. From arrival, the reception team, lifeguards, waiters, and everyone else were polite, friendly, and spoke excellent English. They were always ready to help make the stay comfortable. I'll definitely book here again next year.

The place is quiet and peaceful, with very nice buildings and balconies. We had everything we needed, and the drinks were delicious. The bartender and the friendly cleaning lady both made us feel welcome. Staff didn't speak English very well, but everyone was eager to help whenever we needed something. If I return to Turkey, I'd definitely stay here again. Thankyou😍

The location was perfect, with access to the beach, and the staff at the pool and beach bars were amazing. They worked extremely hard, were very friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The BnB room was basic but spotlessly clean, and the cleaning ladies were sweethearts who left it fresh and smelling lovely. The hotel is a little dated in places, though the maintenance staff look after it well. Breakfast was basic but adequate, with plenty of pastries, cheeses, eggs, fruit, and more. There was no kettle in the room, but you could hire one for £21 per week. Air con cost extra, but ours was a modern unit that worked perfectly and was well worth it. Pool drinks were extortionate, £17 for a local brand double vodka and mixer. Keep an eye on your orders and bills: we found extras on ours several times. I'm sure it was an oversight, but when we asked about it, the arrogant manager/owner was not helpful. We had an absolute ball and would stay again for the location and staff, but the owner's arrogance and bar prices are a big no for us. If you don't drink at the bar and don't have to deal with the manager/owner, it's ideal.
