Jarra Hotel

Disgusting. The bedsheets, towels, and pillows were dirty, so we changed hotels. The receptionist showed us three rooms, and every one was the same. We went to another hotel in their own branch, which was clean, and paid 150 tl more. The worst experience we've ever had.

The rooms are a decent size, but they're quite old, and the hygiene was poor. Cups and cutlery all had some sort of marks on them, maybe from dishwashing residue. In two rooms, most of the towels were stained, and both the shower curtain and shower head holder were broken. Some rooms had air conditioning that didn't work, and the staff didn't seem to care. During our two-day stay, they said we'd have to wait until the next day for a technician. They claimed there were no spare rooms. After hours of waiting and some firm insistence, we finally got a room where the AC worked. Breakfast was a basic buffet, with tea but apparently no coffee. Dinner was substandard, though durable. With so many other options around, this wasn't worth the trouble.

They refused my booking and said they only accept cash, not cards. I'd read the bad reviews but stupidly thought they might have improved after all the complaints. I was wrong. Please don't book here.

The bed springs dug into my back, and the pillows were awful. The shower head sprayed everywhere except where we needed it to. Room cleaning was poor, and we had to repeat requests two or three times every day, yet things still got forgotten. Breakfast was horrible, and the service was terrible. Honestly, this is one of the worst places I've stayed, and it wasn't worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it.
