The staff were nice, the food was good, and the sea views were lovely. The pool was a decent size, and Bodrum was only about 10 minutes away by taxi. The rooms, though, are basic and need refurbishing, with old furniture. There wasn’t any evening entertainment, the cocktails and other drinks weren’t very nice, and the internet was slow and kept dropping out.

The view is beautiful, though there isn’t much you can easily walk to nearby. In the room, the AC or air pump kept switching back to cold no matter what temperature we set, and the soundproofing was awful. We could hear people coughing and walking all night and woke up several times. At the restaurant, one dish had a small rock in it and a cookie had a small hair inside. When we asked, the waiter said it came from a hotel guest, which didn’t explain how it ended up inside the cookie. Staff kept looking at us in a way that made us feel rushed to leave, so it wasn’t relaxing. Orders were wrong, some menu items weren’t available, and the quinoa was uncooked. There were hardly any vegetarian protein choices at the buffet beyond some meze. Coffee ran out quickly and was never refilled when we were there, so you might not get any.

We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was fresh, tasty, and varied, and there was enough choice in the drinks, which were good quality. The main problem was the music, especially in the evenings. It was so loud that it disturbed my wife and made it hard for us to relax. With more attention to the volume, the hotel would be almost perfect. We were still satisfied and would recommend it.

We didn’t feel comfortable in either room we were given. When we arrived around 1:00am, there was a live cockroach in the first room. Staff moved us for the night, but the second room was worse: the bathroom smelled unbearably of drainage, its condition was very poor, and we found another cockroach there the next day. After we complained again, the hotel offered no upgrade or proper solution. They cleaned our original room and moved us back there early the following afternoon. The cockroaches, poor room conditions, and lack of a reasonable response made the stay very uncomfortable. For the price, and a hotel advertised as 4-star, this wasn’t the standard of quality or service we expected. Wouldn’t recommend it.
