The pools were probably the only part I can praise. They were clean and nice. We had to switch rooms because we didn’t like the first one offered; the second was okay, with comfortable beds and working air conditioning. Beyond that, the stay was disappointing, even though the location matched its description. Communication from staff was poor, and many barely spoke English, which seems odd for a hotel that hosts international guests. The rooms need renovation, but worse, ours was dirty and mouldy. If we asked, they changed the sheets and towels, though I expected much more from a 4-star hotel. The balcony barely had room for one chair, and there was no drying rack. Noise was awful at night. The town disco isn’t the hotel’s fault, but the windows did nothing to block it. The garbage truck also came every day at 5am. There were cats and flies everywhere, too, which was unpleasant and overwhelming. The food was another big letdown. Breakfast had little choice: hard-boiled eggs, an omelette, bread, fries and a few tasteless cheeses. I really missed something as basic as gouda. The so-called “meat” was so bad even the local cats wouldn’t eat it. There was a salad bar, but it was repetitive. Lunch and dinner were a little less monotonous, but still short on flavour and variety. I’d hoped for a genuine Turkish food experience, and this was far from it. At the pool bar, the choices were fries, burgers, paninis or spaghetti, not appealing for a whole week. All-inclusive drinks were poor quality, with heavily watered-down alcohol and undrinkable juices. There was no entertainment or anything extra. Maybe it was because we came during their last open week, but there was no karaoke except the first night, no aqua aerobics and no darts. We could have put up with the need for cosmetic repairs in many places, but overall there just wasn’t much to enjoy.

The pool was good, but the activities were only in Turkish, so we found it hard to join in. The rest of the place was a huge disappointment. Our room looked nothing like the photos. It was grubby, run down and full of ants, with mould everywhere. I tried several times to explain our complaints, but nobody could understand us. Staff didn’t speak English, which I wouldn’t expect everyone to be fluent in, but it’s strange when the hotel hosts international guests. The beds were rock hard, and each of us had just one awful pillow. Even the double bed had only one regular blanket plus a scratchy brown spare that couldn’t cover two people. We had one coat hanger and half a toilet roll, and eventually gave up asking for more and bought some ourselves. The bathroom was filthy, the sink took over ten minutes to drain, and there were holes in the walls and broken floor tiles. The whole place looked tired. Food was terrible, with no labels and the same things every day. Breakfast had no pastries or toast, just lots of salads, a few cheeses, strange processed meat slices and chips. Drinks came in very thin plastic cups, so kids kept spilling them. Nobody understood when I asked for Diet, Zero or sugar-free drinks, even when I tried Google Translate. The snack bar served one item a day with fries, and ice cream cost extra. Our balcony was just a large concrete slab with one big glass door facing a wall and a pile of rubbish. There were no windows or chairs. I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels with fewer stars that cost less.

We went in the hotel’s last open week, and for the cheap price we paid, we felt things were mostly taken care of. We brought small bills for tips. The evening program was short but interesting, different every night, and finished around 11 pm. There wasn’t much noise from the town, just a little music. We didn’t see many drunk people, and no one was fighting or shouting. The crowd was about 30% Turkish, 20% English, 20% Polish, with a little of everyone else, including Germans and Swedes. There were lots of stairs and no elevators. One manager, who seemed to oversee the dining room and bars, was very rude to guests and staff. The rest of the staff were helpful, cheerful and hardworking, running around and trying to remember little things about guests. The bartenders were helpful, and the local drinks weren’t watered down. We changed rooms because we didn’t like the first one they offered; the second was fine. It was simple, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioners worked. We brought insect repellent but didn’t need it. One of our children is allergic to dust mites and often needs medicine after 2-3 days in hotels, but surprisingly didn’t even sneeze here. We could see that cosmetic repairs are needed in many places, but it didn’t bother us. The maids cleaned as we requested, and we only asked for fresh towels and replenished supplies. The main pool was pretty good, clean and maintained, as were the toilets. The children loved it. Water slides ran for an hour in the afternoon, but nobody supervised them. The pool snack bar opened from 11 am to 3 pm, with a Turkish snack in the morning and burgers or panini later. The bar was open from 10 am to 6 pm. Breakfast was poor, while lunch and dinner had more variety and leaned toward Turkish food. You could still get a filling meal. People used to English breakfast may be disappointed, especially if they mainly want fries. They grilled fish and chicken in the evening. There wasn’t much fruit, but fresh watermelon was always available. After reading comments, I brought lots of medicine, but no one in our family got food poisoning. The hotel has lots of greenery and open space for photos. The sea is about 1 km away, but we didn’t like the dirty coast, so we stayed by the pool and booked a boat trip. Considering the price, we felt well looked after.

Really awful. It was nowhere near a 4-star hotel, and even 2 stars would be generous. The rooms were dirty and the staff didn’t seem interested. The pool music was ridiculously loud when people were trying to relax. The food was cold and disgusting, and I got food poisoning. They didn’t even label what anything was. Shut it down.

The pool was lovely and the water sports were good. Masoon was a top guy, always checking in, making the pool games fun and cracking jokes. He made an effort to chat and see if everything was okay. It was a pleasure meeting him and coming to the hotel. Good lad 💪💪
