After two weeks there, the room still had bits of debris that hadn’t been cleared, and the cleaning was poor throughout my stay. The internet only worked at reception, with no connection in the room. Breakfast was awful, just bread and one egg. When I asked for a ride to the nearest city, they quoted 2,250 TRY, while a taxi cost only 800-900. The place was very dirty. Don’t waste your time or money here.

The rooms could use a refresh, and Wi-Fi was weak in parts of the hotel. Breakfast was decent with enough choice, though nothing fancy. I liked the quiet seaside setting and the views, even though I didn’t swim. The pool and waterpark looked fun for families. Most of the staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful, which made things easier. I enjoyed the relaxed stay at Mertur Hotel in Çiftlikköy, Yalova, and would be glad to return. It’s a calm place rather than a luxury resort.

The reception staff were unfriendly, though the restaurant team was good and room service was acceptable. The beach was dirty, so swimming in the sea wasn’t an option. The pool was packed, with people coming from outside for the water park, and it was only open from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Animals were all around, and the place was really dirty. The room was supposed to have a deep soaking bathtub, but there wasn’t one. They also said certain areas were closed for reservations, yet other guests came and stayed there anyway. Seriously, don’t waste your money here. Breakfast was disgusting too.

The pool entrance ran from 10am to 6:30pm. It cost 600tl=20$ for an adult, 400tl=12$ for ages 6-10, and was free for children aged 0-6. 20/6/2024
