Sunhill Centro Hotel

A hotel that kills.

AMAZİNG, JUST AMAZİNG, ABSOLUTELY AMAZİNG.

I’d look elsewhere, even if it means paying a bit more. The hotel looked nice at first, but we never felt welcome. Not a single staff member could or wanted to speak English. When we arrived, they ordered us to hand over our passports, gave us keys, and left us to figure things out. The room was extremely dirty, with blood on the mattresses. We’re not very fussy and weren’t expecting anything unusual, but the whole experience is why I’m writing this. Every day the food was the same, rice and salad. Drinks were only available at limited times and were basically just water. The pool music was absurdly loud, unbearable, and nothing like a club. We were staying until September 9, with the hotel due to close for the season on September 10. But by September 8, everything had already been cleaned up. We’ll never stay here again. Corendon is also ending its partnership because all their guests are being relocated.

The beach is about 500-700 meters away, and Gumbet center is a similar distance. Bodrum is around 10 minutes by dolmus, with the stop 100 meters from the hotel. The fare is 3.25 Turkish lira per person. It’s a good fit for adults, but I wouldn’t recommend it to families with children or people who mainly want to relax by the hotel pool. There are no pool activities or water slides. For two weeks, we found the food tasty and varied, and didn’t get bored. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned daily, and the hotel matched Coral’s offer except for a few minor things. English and Wi-Fi were poor, and halfway through our stay there was no Wi-Fi at all. We definitely recommend it. If you’re fussy, I’d suggest a 4000 PLN holiday that offers the entertainment and standards you want. Best wishes, Dawid and Magda!
