Tenda Hotel

The staff were so friendly, and I liked the hotel's view and how close it was to the beaches and bars. I had a really enjoyable three-day stay. The food was very good, with different options and as much as we wanted to take. The alcoholic drinks were good too, though the beer didn't have much carbonation. I really recommend this hotel. I don't understand why people complained.

The food was okay, and drinks were available all the time. But the entrance was an unpaved road, there was an exposed socket in the room, the bathroom was dirty, and the mattress sagged and was uncomfortable. The whole place needed some care and renovation.

The hotel had only just reopened the night we arrived, on 7 June 2017. Even at 11:30 pm the staff were helpful: they brought us food and coffee and showed us to our room. The hotel was very clean, our room was cleaned every day, and we got fresh towels daily. Staff checked the very clean pool often. There was plenty of excellent food, with a wide choice of hot and cold dishes at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My teenage son and I had a really good time at the tenda, and I loved our stay. Thanks to all the staff, and if I get the chance, I'll be back. People expect a lot from a hotel, but things can go wrong or break down, just as they do at home. This beautiful hotel has had some really disturbing reviews over the years. I hope the new owners keep up the standards it deserves.

Gümbet is lovely, but Tenda was advertised as a four-star hotel and I'd avoid it for your health, safety, and wellbeing if you can. There was no hot water for three days, and I spent my week on a broken bed that was never repaired. The room was cleaned only once all week, and the communal areas were never properly cleaned. The food wasn't good enough, so I ate out for all three meals each day. Many European guests became sick during their stay. Staff regularly said, 'it has no stars and isn't good you type of people.' I hope this helps.
