We left with heavy hearts and are already sure we’d return. Thanks again for the birthday cake, champagne, and all the lovely memories from our stay. We came to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I was thrilled that the hotel gave us the exact room I’d asked about before booking. The hotel was spotless, and the overall quality was impeccable. Food was a real highlight: loads of variety, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Even though we’d seen mixed reviews, both the pirate pool and infinity pool were heated and comfortable for swimming. We never felt cold. We also liked how calm the evenings were, with no loud outdoor shows or stage entertainment. Nearly everyone on staff was smiling, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The photographers, and to a lesser extent the spa staff, were a little persistent at first about treatments and massages. After a couple of days, though, they respected what we wanted and left us alone.

The food was easily the best part of our stay: there was a huge selection and the quality was excellent. The lady from Guest Relations was also genuinely kind, professional, and helpful whenever we needed something. The rest of the hotel didn’t meet our expectations. We stayed in small room 8402 in the attic section. The property feels old, with dated furniture, aging rooms, average cleanliness, and some areas that could be maintained better. There isn’t much greenery compared with other resorts nearby, and the artificial plastic flowers in places add to the old-fashioned feel. Even the towel card system seems unnecessary, and the old plastic beach loungers were very uncomfortable. Many employees spoke Russian to us automatically, though we aren’t Russian, which gave us the impression the hotel is strongly geared toward the Russian market. That may not suit every international visitor. We also often felt tips were expected from us, whether for housekeeping or restaurant service, and that made things less welcoming. Despite the good meals and helpful Guest Relations staff, I wouldn’t return. There are better, more modern resorts in the area that offer a more pleasant experience.

The rooms, food, and atmosphere have all been satisfying so far, and the hotel is good overall. I’m staying here now, and I chose it partly because I expected a quiet adults-only space. Please have staff enforce the 16+ area rules consistently. Children should be kindly directed to the family and kids’ pools and areas instead of being allowed to stay in the adults-only zone. Otherwise, having that space doesn’t serve much purpose, and it’s disappointing for guests who came expecting some quiet. If anything changes, I’ll gladly update this review and say what action was taken.

We had a lovely time and would definitely visit again. My daughter and I came during the first week of Easter holiday after Good Friday. The grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped, with plenty of pools. The outdoor food court was amazing, with different kinds of food, desserts, and a perfect patisserie. The restaurant was lovely too, with a good range of cuisines, though the fruit station only had four kinds and no melons or watermelons. Our room was spacious and had a gorgeous side sea view. The main issues were limescale under the bathroom taps and housekeeping: the same bath mat was left there, and the same towel was folded away again. I also noticed that staff rarely greeted guests. Only a couple of people would say good morning. One dinner server, Surka, was especially attentive, polite, and made a real effort.
