The food was a major letdown, the same each day, often cold, and sometimes undercooked. We also had to put up with toilet problems for five days, despite going to reception twice daily to complain, and the shower had no proper hot water. They wanted another 60 euros just for a balcony room. When my brother tried to discuss things with the manager, he was met with rudeness and aggression. We weren't even allowed to order more than one drink at once. I've never had a stay like this and wouldn't recommend the hotel. 1/5.

The room I paid extra for, with a sea view and balcony, didn't exist. I was first put in a worn triple room with broken furniture, blackened toilets, missing light switch covers, limescale on the taps, and a foul drain smell. Then I had to pay more for a so called gentleman room, a sloped wooden chalet with broken drawers, a faulty bathroom window, and drainage problems. A deodorant can rolled across the floor because of the slope. Food was poor throughout: overcooked pasta, chicken with ketchup served differently each day, repetitive potatoes, very little salad, and meagre packed lunches. Drinks were tightly limited, even when a table was ordering for several people. Most staff were dismissive or unhelpful, and kept telling me to come back tomorrow about bills and room problems. Only a few bar staff were friendly. I arrived at 10:30 PM after a long journey to find a big hole in the ceiling, water pouring down, and furniture and a mop propping it up. I was repeatedly told “5 minutes” about my room. The manager then said I couldn't stay because I was a single man, implying I could “harm women and children.” After eventually being allowed to stay one night, I got no apology and was given strict conditions. On day 2, I was told to pay £175 more or leave. I first chose to leave and spent 5 hours trying to find somewhere else, but after lastminute.com offered no alternative and I'd waited 24 hours for a resolution, I was forced to pay. That demand and sequence were repeated to me on day 2. The ceiling collapsed further during my stay, housekeeping was inconsistent, and the bathrooms were poorly maintained. There was an electrical wire from the pool lighting fixture running into the pool, with electrical tape on the end. This place felt unsafe, badly managed, and unprofessional. The rooms were misrepresented, the manager's treatment felt discriminatory, and customer service was practically nonexistent. I can't stress enough that people should avoid staying here.

The all inclusive drinks covered only vodka and gin, and everything else cost extra. The food was disgusting, so we went out to eat every night. The kids ate at the hotel maybe 7 times altogether. Our room was big, but even though it had supposedly just been cleaned, dust was everywhere. It only got cleaned during our stay when we asked for it. We arrived at 9pm and the manager made us wait at reception, saying the room was still being cleaned. I've stayed in plenty of hotels and work in one myself, so I know what standards guests should get. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Don't come here, you'll leave disappointed.

They made us leave 10 hours before our flight, which was unacceptable, especially with three young children in our family of five. The food was awful and the same every day, and the public toilets weren't working properly.

The only parts I liked were the staff, waiters, and room cleaners. The location was reasonable, about a 5 minute walk to the beach, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel. The beach is a city beach rather than the hotel's, and there were loads of cigarette butts and dirt in the sand. I never tried the pool because I didn't trust that it was being looked after properly. I bought my own water and drinks at a shop because the hotel's were low quality. The rooms smelled strongly of damp, and the whole hotel had a disgusting smell. They were so rough I was afraid to shower barefoot. Everything seemed old and poorly made. On arrival, our rooms were like a barn, and we had to pay another 70 euros to get a room. The food was basic and cheap, and I couldn't eat anything except watermelons and baklava. The eggs were often rotten, so I wouldn't risk eating them. I rented a car and moved to another hotel for at least 5 days of comfort. There was no sense of rest or enjoyment here, just disappointment. Thank God we got to rest at another hotel.
