The evening pool lights made the place feel so calm, and I loved the warm wooden bungalow too. Mornings were lovely, waking up to birdsong surrounded by nature, then cooling off in the pool. Everything was spotless, and the staff were really friendly. It felt peaceful and safe. Thanks for everything 🙏🥰🥰

We left that same evening without staying, and getting our money back turned into a struggle. After we said we wanted to cancel because of the service, they offered only half the fee. We called again and again over the next three days before payment finally came through. There was nobody we could speak to, and they gave us no invoice or receipt. It was trouble, not a peaceful getaway. The bungalow gate wouldn't latch, the breaker kept tripping at night, and there was no staff member or supervisor on site. When we called the booking number, they just told us where the electrical panel was. In the rain, we had to open it and reset the breakers ourselves. The place is outside the city center, between Amasya and Samsun, and felt far from any security. If you want to pay to be away from hygiene, quality, and safety, this place is for you. It was about as bad as it gets. The choice is yours.

We were happy with our stay, thanks again for looking after us. The two houses were being cleaned when we arrived, and they were cleaned really well. They were warm, too 👍 We'd been a bit uneasy after reading comments saying the cleaning wasn't good, but our experience was different. Thanks so much to Serap hanım and the staff for their attention. Anyone thinking of going shouldn't worry too much. See you again in the summer 🤗😊

There are lots of cats wandering around the garden, so this probably isn't the place for anyone allergic to them or scared of them. The guard leaves at 5:00 PM, and after that the property feels deserted. There's no nearby supermarket or shop for basic things, and we didn't feel safe or comfortable with the staff's attitude. Our bungalow wasn't ready for us to settle in early, and there was nowhere to sit before hotel hours. Once inside, we found dirty towels, sheets, pillows, and duvets, plus no slippers. There were spiders and webs on the ceilings, the doorbell didn't work, and the jacuzzi was broken. Since the hotel wasn't really operating, there was no reception or anyone around to help. It fell well short of what we expected, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The location made an already awful stay even harder. The bungalow sits right beside the highway, and passing cars were so loud it felt like the house might shake apart. We stuffed tissues in our ears and stayed awake until morning, then managed only an hour or two of sleep from sheer exhaustion. The garden shelters didn't give much privacy either. People walking past could see through the gaps, and that felt really uncomfortable. We'd come with our baby and child, and left after just two days. Neither my stomach nor my spirit could take any more. We wanted to leave after an hour or two and called management, but nobody answered or got back to us. Since we'd already paid, we ended up spending the night. When we later spoke to a woman, she said we'd been inconvenienced, but that doesn't compare with what we went through. It was such a waste of our money. The garden and bungalows could be beautiful, which makes the state of the place such a shame. A proper deep clean and maintenance once a month would make a difference. They could earn three times less and still at least keep it clean. People may save for a year to afford a trip like this. Instead, it's a complete disappointment. There are thousands of places in this price range. Don't waste your money or your time. It isn't worth even 1,000 lira, and the price they're asking is completely undeserved. We booked two nights at Elma Bungalow, and were shocked as soon as we walked in. Before booking, we kept asking whether it was clean. They assured us the house and pool were cleaned regularly, but that wasn't true. The pool was cloudy and filthy. Dead bugs and flies were on the floor and caught between the carpets. The dishes had supposedly been washed, but were piled up on the counter. The sponges were greasy, the drawers and cupboards were dirty with grease, and the Teflon pots and pans were practically falling apart. They should throw them out, leave a couple of clean pots, or provide none at all. Putting them there is shameful. Do people find 8,000 [Turkish Lira] lying around to throw away? It shows no respect for customers. The pool was another problem. They said it held 3-5 cubic meters, but we measured it ourselves and got about 1.75-4 cubic meters. It was like a watering can. Cats were everywhere, at least ten of them, throwing up and then drinking from the pool. They kept coming into the house and climbing all over the tables. I turned my back for a moment and they ransacked the breakfast table I'd spent ages preparing. There were so many spiders we lost count of how many we chased out. Webs covered the bungalow roof, indoor corners, cupboards, even the sugar bowl they had left out. They were short-legged black spiders. Spending the night there was a nightmare. We also waited two days for a reply just to make the reservation, and calls often went unanswered. There was nobody at the hotel. It felt abandoned. What were the people who left good reviews basing them on? Either shut the business down or explain everything clearly so people can decide whether to come, though I doubt anyone would. Such a waste. Just a shame.
