The place needs maintenance or a renovation.

Five of us stayed in a wooden house in the mountains, and it really wasn't worth what we paid. There was no kitchen, the sink wasn't adequate, and it took 20 minutes for the shower water to get hot. There wasn't even a barbecue. They actually tried to stop us from lighting one, which was strange 😀. I absolutely wouldn't recommend going there.

The room design was fantastic, but the service was mediocre, the worst I’ve had at the tourist stops on the road to Abant. It felt like money was the priority. The bathroom water took ages to heat, so we ran a lot of it and flooded the bathroom. Instead of shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper like other boutique hotels provide, there was a nearly empty used bottle of one shampoo brand with another brand's contents. They don't allow shoes in the rooms but hadn't left any disposable slippers. For what we paid, I expected a kettle with coffee and tea, and drinking water in the fridge. There was none. The old refrigerator didn't belong in the room and made so much noise that we couldn't sleep, so we unplugged it. At check-in, we asked about water and were told there'd be some in the room. When we couldn't find any, a staff member said their mountain water was drinkable and they were from Bolu, then acknowledged the company was obligated to provide water. We ended up filling our glasses from a plastic bottle at the bathroom sink. Disgusting. When we asked about the TV, they said they couldn't bring it if the picture went out. They didn't seem to know the products in their own business, or maybe that suited them. Breakfast wasn't a village breakfast, just regular supermarket jams, lots of sugary yingari, a little fried potato, and eggs fried in oil. The woman serving us was nice, and there was a huge pot of tea, but they should have served tea from the stove first. That's basic courtesy. Even the tomatoes seemed to be the cheapest kind, like they'd chosen them just to cut costs. Most shopkeepers in Bolu don't know how to provide service, in my experience. They seem to care only about the money, with no return on investment. There's a fireplace restaurant on that road I highly recommend. Green House also gives you what you'd expect for your money. I think you'll regret staying here.

We booked one night, but the price we were quoted changed when we arrived. When we objected, they basically showed us the door, so we left without staying. It felt like a business focused entirely on making money. I definitely don't recommend it.
