A lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the Bolu forests. We booked one night and found the room cozy, the bed comfortable, and the whole place homey. There were extra blankets and pillows in the closet, and we slept without any trouble. Breakfast came with the stay and was okay. The welcome was very warm.

The people are great and the hospitality is lovely. But the place used to be amazing, and over the past couple of years it’s changed a lot. They’ve put up about three extra buildings where there should have been a park. 😕

It’s a family-run place on the road to Abant, right by a stream, with a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor garden and winter garden are nice, and the rooms are warm enough for a winter stay. Staff are friendly and attentive, and make you feel at ease, like you’re visiting your own family. They keep fresh hot tea coming from the stove, and when we wanted to barbecue, they even lit the grill and let us use their kitchen utensils. That was thoughtful, and we had a great time. It’s a good choice for groups. The winter garden could use more seating. The breakfast area is shared, so it has more of a communal dining-table feel. You can also come in for breakfast or tea and coffee without staying overnight. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t disturb the peace of the other guests.

We stayed last week with our family and our 2.5-year-old daughter, and had a wonderful time. This is a lovely family-run business, and it’s so clean that guests go into the rooms area without shoes. The rooms are very warm, and you feel at home. There’s always tea ready for guests on the stove in the lobby. Everyone in the family treats you like a guest in their house, not just a customer. Their five-year-old son played with our daughter, and they offered us lots of extra treats during the evening. There are so many things we enjoyed. I can confidently say this is a boutique hotel we’ll return to every time we visit Abant. Breakfast is generous too, with delicious village bread and local jams.

I got to stay for two days, and the family running the place was wonderful. There’s food available until late in the evening, and tea is always kept ready on the stove. You can toast your own bread, and the rooms are spotless. Guests go into the room area without shoes, which keeps it so clean. If you want a lovely holiday in a family atmosphere, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it. Special thanks to Ufuk for all his help.
