Dolphin Boutique Hotel

My friend and I stayed from 26/08/2025 to 30/08/2025. At first, things seemed good: the location, breakfast, and service were all good. On 28 August, the owner Hulya told us eight families were arriving the next day. After they checked in on 29 August, some of the men were getting very drunk during the day and behaving sleazily, which made us uncomfortable while we were swimming and sunbathing at the hotel's beach area. That evening, from our balcony, we overheard some of them talking about us and saying they wanted to have their way with us. Hotel owner Kemal was there as they discussed doing disgusting things to us. They asked him for our room number, and he gave it to them. We were afraid to sleep in case they came into our room. The hotel is very dark at night, with no lights and nobody at reception. It was one of the scariest experiences I've had in Turkey. We put a chair behind the sliding doors and furniture against the main door because we were scared someone might force their way in, or Kemal might give them our room key. When we checked out the next morning, Hulya was upset that we hadn't eaten dinner at the hotel restaurant any of the nights. We told her what the guests had said and about her son's involvement, but she didn't seem to care. Her show of concern felt completely fake. The owners don't put their guests' safety first. I would not stay here.

The breakfast was generous, with homemade fruit jams. I'm not usually much for sweets, but I had to try them. This is a small family-run hotel with lovely sea views and its own sun lounger area right at the water's edge. There are lots of stairs, so it's not for anyone who struggles with them.

Mr. Kemal, the owner, is a wonderful person, and this is a charming family hotel. The staff are helpful, upbeat, and genuinely charming. We had first-class service and an excellent breakfast. I loved the hotel and would gladly recommend it to everyone.

We had a spacious room with a sea view, and the waterside lounge area was really comfortable. We were there in the off season, though, and the hotel seemed poorly managed. The stairs from the street have no lighting, so you'll need a flashlight if you come back after dark. At checkout, the manager said at the last minute that his card machine wasn't working, which meant we had to go into town to find an ATM and pay in cash.
